Prunus domestica L.
Dried prunes from Ashlock, Spain and Hungarian plum varieties, supplied pitted and with stone, in natural dry form or lightly glycerine-treated for a softer texture. High dry-matter content and a low share of broken fruit make them a dependable raw material for prune paste and juice concentrate, bakery fillings, snack mixes and retail packs. Grading by fruit count per 500 g is available on request.
