Anethum graveolens L.
Dried dill weed cut to 3x3, 5x5 and 10x10 mm, dried in shade at low temperature so the green colour and the essential-oil profile survive the process. Uzbek open-field dill is cut young, before flowering, which keeps stalk content low and the aroma clean. Supplied to seasoning houses and producers of soup concentrates, dry sauces and dressings, brine and pickling mixes, and to retail packers of culinary herbs.
