Almonds
Prunus dulcis (Mill.) D.A.Webb
Uzbek almonds are offered in-shell and as kernels of sweet varieties grown in southern and foothill districts, with a firm texture and the mild, sweet flavour typical of Central Asian orchards. Kernels are calibrated by size and sorted for splits and foreign matter, which suits confectionery and bakery lines, nut butters, roasting and retail packing. Blanching and vacuum packing are available on request.
