Green Mung Beans
Vigna radiata
Uzbek green mung bean is machine-cleaned and colour-sorted, with even grain and a bright green seed coat; the bulk of the crop is grown as a second harvest after winter wheat. Purity of 99% and moisture held at 11% max. give the lot the reserve it needs for long rail and sea transit and allow packing without re-cleaning at destination. Standard uses are dal and soups, mung flour and starch, noodle production, with the split fraction supplied for milling programmes.
